QSS-2000 Soldering Iron Communication
System
Intensive temperature control and communication system.
(Also for lead-free soldering)
- All soldering iron settings
(temperature, PID control value, alarm) can be set using a personal
computer.
- Soldering iron temperature is
managed and recorded automatically on the personal computer.
- ISO9000 and QS9000 obligates to
record the temperature condition of soldering workmanship.
- It communicates at a maximum
speed of 19.2 Kbps using the RS-485 multi-drop connection between
soldering iron and personal computer.
- It collects the temperature of
the soldering iron in 1 sec ~ 24 hour intervals and it writes it in
the hard disk one after another in .csv (comma-separated values)
format.
- When the temperature of the
soldering iron goes beyond the setting range (upper and lower limits),
it emits and alarm with the personal computer and it records the
extraordinary condition.

- Soldering irons are connected
to a personal computer through the communication line, which collects
and saves the temperature data.
- Collected temperature data can
be monitored on PC display.

- The PC issues an alarm to warn
a work supervisor when iron temperatures reach abnormal ranges.
- Saved temperature data can be

M16 LCD Soldering Iron Controller

- Control method is PID. It has
temperature compensation function and various parameter functions.
- In addition to the digital
display, it also has an LCD display. With the digital display,
it is difficult to read temperature during actual soldering because
the indicated value changes instantly. The M16 LCD displays the
iron tip temperature every 0.2 seconds in a graph. Therefore,
temperature history for soldering can be understood at a glance.
