Broadband Call Dialer
Connects Your Telephone System to a
Broadband Internet Line
To
save on call charges you can now make telephone calls via a Broadband
Internet connection (ADSL or Cable). However, the cost of replacing
your office telephone system (PABX or Keyline) with an IP based system
is prohibitive. The new BIA Broadband Call Dialer helps you to bridge
the gap between your existing PABX and the Internet.
BIA Broadband Call Dialer adapts a telephone system
trunk port to a Broadband Internet connection (e. g. ADSL, cable or
leased line). When calling from your existing telephone system, the
Broadband Call Dialer delivers your voice to the destination via the
Internet. The destination can be another VoIP device (e.g. Broadband
Phone) or a normal telephone number.
When you have pressed a number on your PABX phone, the
Broadband Call Dialer will inspect it and decide on the best way to
proceed. It will choose between the normal phone line and the Internet
connection. In normal operation it connects the phone line and your
telephone system directly, so that normal phone calls are undisturbed. |
