Non-vacuum models weight just 2.1 lbs., lighter than other comparable sanders. The shape of the housing conforms to the operator's hand for proper wrist position required for greater operator comfort and control. Other features including low profile design (only 3-1/2" high) improve control, provide greater operator visibility and allow pad to be used flat on the work surface for better finishes. When the palm-conformed lever is activated, it becomes recessed into the housing, thus eliminating a "pinch point" on the sensitive area of the palm Low sound levels and less vibration add to the ergonomic emphasis!

Less Vibration
Composite base has integrated rubber over-mold creating a no-slip feel as well as insulating from. Also, the air motor is suspended by vibration-absorbing rubber rings to minimize vibration.

True 10,000 RPM Air Motor Has More Power
New rotor utilizes five blades producing 18% more useable power. This (Merlite^® III) composite rotor is stronger and has better lubricating qualities allowing the blades to wear longer. As a result, less air (16 SCFM) is used more efficiently to maintain maximum power.
